As we look towards our 20th Anniversary, we have tremendous gratitude for those who have supported us over the years. We have friends across Europe who have been thoughtful and consistent, making it possible for us to fulfill a promise made to every child on the day that they start in the primaria. You have been a part of hope and opportunity for a desperate population.
In recognition of this connection, I will be coming to Berlin for the Friends Group meeting on April 6th and travelling throughout Europe. There has been some interest in a pan-European Safe Passage/Camino Seguro Friends group who could meet every few years in a different city. As we face our 20th year celebration, it seems like an amazing opportunity to share experience, ideas and recommendations.
The German Friends group certainly welcomes you, should coming to Berlin be of interest. I would love to see you in this meeting or meet with you individually in your city if at all possible. In addition to giving you an update on the great progress that has been made since your support began, I look forward to getting your thoughts on the 20thyear celebration and our work moving forward. Next year, we will begin a celebration of the next steps in our plan – taking our children to full day schooling.
I have attached a link to a survey for your initial feedback.* It is a ten question survey (taking only 5 minutes). It would be a great honor and pleasure to meet with you. You have been an important part of our story. Survey for Safe Passage/Camino Seguro Supporters
*Our apologies that the survey is in English.
